In the current issue of Vortex HiFi, Marco Kolks from Hörerlebnis publishes findings on sound influencing factors in the area of hi-fi components but also in the environment. In doing so, he encountered sound factors that he would never have expected - and above all not to this extent. The aim of the Iraser technique
The Iraser 4 Sigma's job is to prevent unwanted Informationwhich build up in materials over time delete and to replace it with acoustically advantageous information. Application examples:
- CD's: To erase, walk slowly across the entire surface of the CD.
- LP's: To erase, walk slowly over the entire area of the PCB.
- Terminating connector (e.g. 75 ohms): Swipe along the connector.
- Dust caps, made of plastic or metal: Swipe along the Dust Cap.
- Analog cable: Slowly stroke the cable. Treat the plugs as well.
- Digital cable: Move slowly along the cable (including optical cables). Treat the plugs as well.
- Power cord: Slowly stroke the cable. Treat the plugs as well.
- Speaker cable: Slowly stroke the cable. Treat the plugs as well.
- Power connector strips: Swipe along all sides of the case. Slowly stroke the cable. Treat the plugs as well.
- Rack floors: Especially with metal, plastic and glass. Swipe over the surfaces. In the case of glass surfaces, it is sufficient to treat approx. 1/3 of the surface, since glass conducts information strongly and the entire surface accepts the information. If a cell phone or DECT phone is always in a certain place, then you should treat this place directly.
