Dear Mr. Maurer,

this is a Saul - Paul story with a happy ending for my music experience at home.

I am an internist. Always very critical of homeopathy. I always pitied people with stone pendants. I enjoyed reading reports in the listening experience about Vortex - because this voodoo nonsense amused me deliciously.

Well, you already guessed it. I had Romeo Barisic (active studio) show me a streamer at home. Sounded great - bought. When the device arrived, however, I was not satisfied despite the installation. Romeo grinned and said he had forgotten to remove the vortex pyramids from the router he had brought with him while demonstrating. I was still in disbelief.

Then he plastered my entire listening room with Vortex. I couldn't do without a tool today. Even my MTA, who had no hifi, heard the difference if I only removed a blank.

In the meantime I've supplied both of my listening rooms with Vortex - and it's getting more and more. And yes, I even have the stone necklace around my neck. Also works. For this I now have the pity of my friends. I do not care. What still amazes me: Why does the bad red turn into a good one if you glue pyramids on it, for example? Even if the router reaches from the upper floor (also equipped) to the lower floor, an additional router in the listening room sounds even better. Can this be? Would three routers be even better then? - Fun - or not ??? !!!

So their technology (how did they come up with it?) Confused my medical worldview. An even stronger critic than me (also a doctor) felt the same way.

Best device feet! Regardless of the device, the music becomes livelier and more differentiated. A must for LP 12 owners. Mine is built in 1988, remodeled in 2001 with an exchange kit. I unscrewed the original feet and placed the Vortex device feet under the base plate. What happened then cannot be compared with any previous sound improvement. Only that much. I'm just starting to rediscover my record collection. Musical works that I didn't find so successful before suddenly make sense and now give me pleasure. Conclusion: I always found the LP 12 to be exceptionally good. With these feet he is simply awesome.

STEREO magazine once wrote: How do you turn a very good power amplifier into an average one? - Put it on the floor and not on a base !? It remains to be seen whether the jump from "an average to a very good" applies, but it is true that a simple test can be used to determine that the background influences the sound. Inspired by the detailed explanations of the device feet and cable lifts on the Vortex homepage, I simply separated my speaker cables from the floor with the help of two thick books to hear whether anything was happening at all.

I was very surprised by the positive result of this experiment and therefore promptly got myself four Vortex cable carriers, which have since replaced the books. It is hard to believe what these well-informed “building blocks” can do! Congratulations to Mr. Maurer and his team for developing this tool. The cable trays are undoubtedly another proof that Vortex products are still able to expand the sound horizon, even if you think you have reached the end of the flagpole. But how does an old Gronauer sing? - It continues beyond the horizon.

The Power Optimizer 2 brought my entire system to a level of listening to music that was previously unimaginable to me. After measuring the Stetzerizer measuring device borrowed several times and testing with multiple changes, I have now used 4 Power Optimizer 2 in the living room and another 5 Power Optimizer 2 in the music room. My sound has improved mainly due to a much larger spatiality. Completely detached from the loudspeakers, I now hear a “music cloud” that extends far more in breadth and - which is particularly difficult to achieve - also in depth. My music has now achieved a “live-likeness” that I have never known before, each instrument convinces with its own very precise sound spectrum. The positions of the individual instruments can also be precisely identified. The time of listening to music flies by for me, I've already listened for 3 hours and want more ...

Yes, he's done it again !!! These filters, from the simplest to the noble version, are really great! As has been the case several times before, the use of Vortex products has once again led to the hearing sensation being raised to a level previously not thought possible.

After intensive attempts to optimally distribute the filters I used in the house, the measurements with the Stetzerizer led to a decent result. Since Mr. Maurer warns of "initial deterioration" when using all of his products, I was able to force myself to wait a few hours before listening to music, and that was a good thing. In my opinion, this warning should be taken particularly seriously with the BOB filters, because I had not yet noticed such a clear initial deterioration in the sound image. As a result, I was correspondingly disappointed - should a degree of saturation have set? Have I been using too much Vortex by now ???? The next few days brought the clear answer: NO !!!!

Conclusion: MUST use it !!!! (You only know what you haven't noticed before before it's there)
If the rating scale allowed it, I would choose the whole Milky Way instead of the five stars!

Hello Mister. Nehls, the Vortex-HiFi BOB filter.
The last 2 days in my music room have been absolutely amazing. Although I haven't changed anything on the system, the music experience can hardly be described in words. The musicality, the transparency and the absolute naturalness are on a level that I have always wished for but didn't even know that something like this would work.
I heard a classical CD earlier on which I have never got past the first track. And now ... what great music. At the end of the CD I sat there and was fascinated how easy it was to follow the music. No thought of hectic changing CDs to hear a highlight here or an audiophile there. No, I just heard great music.
How can it be that the installed Power Optimizer create such access to the music. Well noticed, I installed the Power Optimizer one floor down (maisonette apartment) in the living room and in the bedroom and next to the music room at the PC station and in the bathroom. The result on the borrowed measuring device showed me the massive success in these places and also in the music room, but the fact that this change is transformed into such an increased enjoyment of music is really amazing and yes, absolutely insane. Various CDs followed, each time the same. Goosebumps, joy, emotions and the time flew by.
I'm already looking forward to tomorrow, when the journey into music continues.

Much more than a gem and still beautiful to look at, at least from a fashionable point of view. Of course, the effect on me, the music connoisseur, is even more important, and it is extraordinary! At first I had the feeling that the body had to adjust to the effect, but a few hours later I felt relaxed and very free and open to enjoying music, which has a direct effect on my hearing as I perceive a lot more musical details and concentrate better. The performance looks more real and natural, rooms are more pronounced in width and depth, reverb tails into eternity…. the crazy thing in this case is that it is not the system that is tuned, but me! Dear technocrats and theorists, it's a shame that you're missing out, because what can't be can not be.
