Room tuning

How does your living room become a concert hall?

Thats is quite easy! You switch on your hi-fi system, sit comfortably in your favorite armchair and close your eyes. You're in a church, a jazz club or a concert hall. The only thing you need is relaxation - because then your imagination will transform your living room into a concert hall.

We help you to imagine your concert hall

Our approach is now to give you back your natural imagination, or corrective power - which you through electrosmog was taken. We use high tech for this Nano materials, as well as alternative medicine techniques like that Information.

Room acoustics and electrical room climate decide!

Of course, your room acoustics at home basically hinder the perception of the room acoustics in the recording room. Because all information about the recording with your room is contained on the sound carrier and your listening room puts a second over this acoustics. This irritates you at first and creates ambiguity, indistinctness, even booming, hissing and an unclear location.

The two acoustics irritate you - that's what we call the two-room problem.

One can also look at the problem in terms of frequency response errors, phase errors, resonance problems, early reflections, reverberation, etc. For us, it's just a second room - information that your brain needs to separate and find out its truth.

But that is the nature of sensory perception and so initially not a problem!

What is recognized as wrong is simply replaced by something learned and it feels right to you. You can also say it sounds natural. So that you have the feeling of sitting in a concert hall, listening to music and that it sounds like life, we do not need to transmit the "original" acoustically!

The acoustic information in the ear canal is always extremely wrong!

Not only do we not need to transfer the original in order to achieve a natural musical perception - we also fundamentally cannot. Your head is not in the recording room and so a direction-selective suppression and direction-selective amplification (approx. 1000 times) of the sound that enters your two auditory canals is not possible.

This is due to your head-related transmission functions (see below). The acoustic signals that would have come in your ear canal in the recording room and those that come in the playback room in the ear canal are always completely wrong due to your upper body, your head shape and your ear shapes (HRTFs). A microphone in the recording room will pick up the sound equally from all sides. At least somehow - with a specific directional behavior (see polar diagram).

Depending on the direction of the sound, people will always get a different frequency response in the ear canal. Whether a sound source is at 0 ° or at 90 ° makes a difference of approx. 20dB (see head-related transfer functions below).

Measurement Vortex HiFi: Head-related transfer functions measured on a dummy head "John" with original OKMII head microphones.

For 2-channel playback, this means that all instruments in the frequency response are always wrong for the listener (!) And this cannot be corrected in principle - because we have different virtual sound sources, but only 2 real ones - the loudspeakers. Due to its specific virtual location, each instrument has an individual deviation of the phase response and the amplitude frequency response from the real sound sources (loudspeakers). The lower difference measurement shows the metrological difference (amplitude frequency response) between a real sound source (loudspeaker at 0 ° / center) and the 30 ° + 330 ° sound (via two loudspeakers in the stereo triangle) of the right ear of a dummy head. The errors are approx. 15 dB!

The observation of the directional characteristic of the ears in comparison to microphones shows the impossibility of reproducing a sound that a person in the concert hall would have had in the ear canal. A technical evaluation of the sound as a person would hear it is in principle impossible with measuring equipment, even if the recordings were made with an artificial head.
The problem is that our hearing system uses a lifelong learning process to evaluate frequency-dependent level and transit time differences in the signals from both ears and make them available for localization. Spatially selective listening (through concentration) is possible through complex brain activity. Technically, this cannot be reproduced or even corrected.

Incidentally, this applies not only to the amplitude frequency response, but also to the phase frequency response - i.e. the time! So it is a mistaken assumption that if the loudspeaker is linear and phase-locked in the lab, it is in the listener's ear canal too. It's always extremely wrong - that's the reality!

Head movements change everything!

In addition, there are room acoustics and installation-specific parameters. If you move a measuring microphone by only 20cm (normal head movement when listening in the evening), 10 - 15dB frequency response changes are not unusual (see acoustic difference measurement below).

We use the natural correction function of the hearing

Due to the natural correction functions of your hearing, you would suppress the listening room significantly through the so-called cocktail party effect. But you cannot do that with the acoustics of the recording room - because your head with its 3D sound analysis is not in the recording room. This is how we naturally turn your living room into a concert hall.

Why is this not possible without Vortex HiFi products?

The suppression mechanism of the listening room is based on the cocktail party effect and this requires a powerful nervous system - without disturbances and without stress.

Medical research has shown that the human nervous system reacts strongly to low-frequency electrosmog (see Dirty power) and on high frequency electrosmog (Please refer Prof. Dr. Peter Semm and Prof. Dr. Karl Hecht). Magda Havas even showed that patients at one high harmonic content get strong noises in the ear - that is the total flaw of the control system in the hearing! In other words, what we need in order to be able to sense and locate dynamics, details and space.

Today's home environment, including the hi-fi system, makes this concert hall feel impossible.

The space solutions from Vortex HiFi

  1. Solution: Shield open sockets. The Dirty power The problem with the associated nerve disorders can be extremely reduced if every free socket in the room is equipped with a Vortex HiFi Nano power plug is provided. A high tech Nanomaterial keeps the harmonics away from the listener in the room.
  2. Solution: The extremely damaging potential vortices on the Loudspeaker chassis  with Vortex HiFi  AIO pyramids suppress and De-stressing the listener.
  3. Solution: The extremely damaging potential vortices on the HiFi devices with Vortex HiFi Nano Shield Plug's and   AIO technology suppress and De-stressing the listener.
  4. Heating water with vortex AIO technology suppress and De-stressing the listener.
  5. Large glass surfaces with vortex AIO technology, or 2D technology  suppress and De-stressing the listener.

In this way, your hearing system naturally corrects errors in the system and in the room, and the music feels like life to you.
