Humans change more than devices or speakers

Acoustically, a person's head rotation of approximately 30° (due to head-related transfer functions) alters the frequency response in the human ear canal by about 20 dB! This completely changes the phase response. In the cochlear amplification mechanism of the inner ear, sound is mechanically amplified or attenuated by up to a factor of 1000. Therefore, external acoustic reality accounts for only 0,1% of what you perceive. Whether you concentrate on a singer (cocktail party effect) or not changes the experience more than any electroacoustic device. Only when both the electroacoustic signal and the processing within the human body are undisturbed do we experience toe-tapping and goosebumps!

Current medical research has shown that the auditory system reacts with errors to both high-frequency electromagnetic waves and low-frequency electromagnetic fields. These can be generally faulty nerve impulses, as Prof. Dr. Peter Semm observed, or specifically errors in the nerve impulses of the auditory nerve, as described by Prof. em. Dr. Karl Hecht based on Russian studies, or even extreme tinnitus, as Prof. Dr. Magda Havas demonstrated at a WHO workshop in Prague in 2004.
