Instructions for use Iraser Eraser Sticks

Congratulations on purchasing your Vortex HiFi Iraser Information Eraser!

The Iraser wand does the undesirable job Information which build up in materials over time delete and to replace it with acoustically advantageous information. Depending on the complexity of the information we put on the staff, it is one AIO-Iraser, one PI.-Iraser or a diamond iraser.

Diametrically embossed magnet

All 3 rods have at one end of the rod (the one with the point on the side, top left picture) an approx. 5cm long N52 super magnet with a diametrical magnetic field. This means that the magnetic field has its poles on the side of the rod and the rod has an effective width of 5cm. So you can change the field from the north pole to the south pole when turning the rod - which is important for demagnetization. This page can be used, for example, to delete areas and to run along cables to delete them. The magnetic field is strongest on this side where the point is and on the exactly opposite side. The magnetic field is practically zero exactly between the point and the opposite side.

When deleting information, it makes sense to look at the point and to stroke the object to be deleted with the exactly opposite side.

Longitudinally embossed magnet

The PI.-Iraser and Diamond-Iraser also have a longitudinally embossed magnet (top picture on the right) which is much thicker and can thus generate a stronger magnetic field than the diametrical magnet at the black end of the rod. With this end you can delete particularly critical objects, such as plugs or other thick objects, into which the magnetic field has to penetrate deeper.

The white Vortex HiFi Iraser I1-AIO rod has only one diametrical magnet in the white end while the other two rods have a magnet in both ends with a different orientation.

The white Vortex HiFi Iraser I1-AIO rod has only one diametrical magnet in the white end while the other two rods have a magnet in both ends with a different orientation.

Application examples:

  • CD's: To erase, slowly go once over the entire surface of the CD with the side of the stick facing away from the point.
  • LP's: To erase, slowly walk once over the entire area of the PCB with the side of the rod facing away from the point.
  • Terminating connector (e.g. 75 Ohm): With the diamond and PI versions of the rod, stroke the black end of the rod along the connector. With the white AIO stick, slide the white end along the side (opposite side of the dot) along the connector.
  • Dust caps, made of plastic or metal: With the diamond and PI versions of the stick, stroke the black end of the stick along the dust cap. With the white AIO stick, stroke the white end sideways (opposite side of the dot) along the dust cap.
  • Analog cable: The plugs are treated like termination plugs. The diametrical end of the rod is used to erase the cables (white, blue or green). Look at the point and walk with the opposite side along the cable.
  • Digital cable (also optical cables): The plugs are treated like terminating plugs. The diametrical end of the rod is used to erase the cables (white, blue or green). Look at the point and walk with the opposite side along the cable.
  • Power cord: The plugs are treated like termination plugs. The diametrical end of the rod is used to erase the cables (white, blue or green). Look at the point and walk with the opposite side along the cable.
  • Speaker cable: The plugs are treated like termination plugs. The diametrical end of the rod is used to erase the cables (white, blue or green). Look at the point and walk with the opposite side along the cable.
  • Power connector strips made of metal and plastic. The connectors and the body of the bar are treated like terminators. The diametrical end of the rod is used to erase the cables (white, blue or green). Look at the point and walk with the opposite side along the cable.
  • Rack shelves, here in particular for metal, plastic and glass. Slowly walk over the faces with the diametrical end of the rod. In the case of glass surfaces, it is sufficient to treat about 1/3 of the surface, as glass conducts information strongly and the entire surface accepts the information. If a cell phone or DECT phone is always in a certain place, then you should treat this place directly.
  • Glass surfaces like windows: Slowly walk over the faces with the diametrical end of the rod. In the case of glass surfaces, it is sufficient to treat about 1/3 of the surface, as glass conducts information strongly and the entire surface accepts the information.
  • Plug-in power supply and plug filter: Move the black end (longitudinal magnet - not with the white AIO stick) slowly along the body of the power supply unit or filter. There is no magnet on the black end of the white AIO stick and the white, diametrical end on the body of the filter or power supply must be used. The cable of the power supply unit is treated with the diametrical end (white, blue or green) like the other power cables (see power cable above).
  • Table and floor lamps: Walk slowly along the lamp with the black end (longitudinal magnet - not with the white AIO stick). There is no magnet on the black end of the white AIO stick and the white, diametrical end on the lamp must be used. For the power cord of the lamp, proceed as described under Power cord.
