Phasing out the power plug with Vortex HiFi means plugging the marked plug contact into the phase of the mains socket.

The first thing to do is to determine the plug contact of the socket, which is the phase. To do this, you use a phase tester to obtain a clear result. Then insert the power plug into the socket so that the marked contact on the plug is connected to phase.

Phase out is particularly important when it comes to energetic accessories! The following Vortex HiFi products must be plugged in with the correct phase:

• power cable
• Cinch cable
• XLR cable
• Speaker cable with "power plug"
• Power plugs
• Ground optimizer
• Power Optimizer (observe PO2 and PO3 field rules)
• GeoPath Optimizer !!!

The GeoPath Optimizer 2 and 3 are unique. While with all other accessories "only" the sound quality suffers when the phase is incorrect, the effect with the GeoPath is actually reversed . A GeoPath inserted incorrectly weakens the body instead of strengthening it as usual. This is demonstrated by all the strength and coordination tests we conducted. In rare cases, this can also temporarily lead to discomfort and insomnia—the opposite of correct use! Furthermore, one incorrectly inserted GeoPath Optimizer can completely neutralize many correctly inserted ones.
