BOB line filter test in audiophil-online

Karl Belkner writes:… In any case, the BOB filters did their job extremely well. So good that it was hard to imagine listening to music without a BOB filter in the future.

Since the appearance of our BOB line filters, we have received extremely positive feedback from customers. But the first test by the HiFi magazine Hörerlebnis was also very informative and very positive. Another test was published in the HiFi online portal Audiophil Online. Karl Belkner comes to the conclusion: ”... In any case, the BOB filters did an extremely good job. So good that it was hard to imagine listening to music without a BOB filter in the future.

Karl Belkner from audiophil-online tested the VORTEX HIFI BOB filter and was thrilled!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Belkner for another very detailed test. I would also like to point out his willingness to experiment. Mr. Belkner noticed that depending on the plug rotation (phase out of the device) the interference of the devices on the power grid changed by up to 10GS units! This is a new approach to explain why phasing out can change the sound of a device.

We never noticed. When phasing out, we only ever measured the mass of the devices. We are now taking this as an opportunity to examine this effect more closely. Here are a few quotes from the test.

Quote from Karl Belkner:

What a change! The five PO 3 diamond filters in combination with the PO 1 or PO light filters worked like a sound turbo….

... Removing the filters confirmed the memories very clearly. Without the VORTEX helpers, the piano strings sounded comparatively hard, muffled and colorless, as if the piano was being played in an acoustically heavily dampened room ...

... But the VORTEX filters did even more, much more. After the first few bars of music it became clear: There is now more pressure, more power, more atmosphere, more pronounced timbres and significantly more deep bass. Singing voices were given more expressiveness and without the filters the vowels seemed comparatively powerless and artificial ...

... The dynamics had also increased; with loud passages you were literally carried away with the music. On some tracks this led to spontaneous adrenaline rushes when dynamic peaks were converted into sound by the speakers unhindered. This inevitably gave rise to a live mood that could not previously be experienced in this form with the usual playback chain ...

... In any case, the BOB filters did an extremely good job. So good that it was hard to imagine listening to music without a BOB filter in the future.
