Norbert Maurer speaks about his interference theory with Frank Wacker in HiFi-Today

Frank Wacker: Mr. Maurer, instead of optimizing the hi-fi system, VORTEX Hifi is about relieving stress in people for a natural hearing experience. An unusual, albeit extremely successful, path - this is shown by the very intensive experience I have gathered over the past three years and that of many other VORTEX Hifi users. Tell us how you came up with it.

Norbert Maurer: High quality music reproduction has been a part of my life since I was a child - my parents owned a hi-fi business and the loudspeaker manufacturer Mason. As a teenager, I modified equipment and speakers; among other things, I built my own frequency crossovers for loudspeakers. In 1984 I patented a crossover circuit of almost any speed. At the time, I thought that this measure would improve the signal. Today I know from work by Meyl on the subject of capacitors and potential vortices that I eliminated biologically relevant vortex phenomena of the crossover. These were responsible for the sometimes extreme sound differences ...

Frank Wacker: What are biologically relevant vortex phenomena and potential vortices?

Norbert Maurer: Every electrical component, including light bulbs, cables, plugs, etc., act as an antenna. With antennas, the length of which does not optimally match the transmission frequency - which applies to almost every component, biologically relevant and thus also influencing the musician's experience with high and / or low frequency fields and antenna noise arise! The more the noise disturbs our nervous system, the more pronounced the biological relevance and the more our perception suffers - and the music sounds artificial and lifeless and somehow also wrong. Sensitive people also feel uncomfortable - as you know from your own experience.

Frank Wacker: What put you on the right track?

Norbert Maurer: We discovered early on that different power cords can sometimes significantly change the sound quality - although they lead to practically no measurable changes in the music signal. Systematic investigations with test groups and evaluation sheets showed that there was practically no correlation between the usual electrical cable parameters and the sound. Some cables sounded bad on the floor, but if we placed them over a chair, the music played exceptionally precisely, airy, spatial and free.
The same cable, which was five meters long on the floor and was worse than one meter long, sounded better when placed over chairs, when both cables were "in the air". Long "hardware store cables" in the air even sounded more spatial, more concrete and more detailed than very expensive short power cables on the floor. So there had to be other explanations than the usual ones, because we discovered a multitude of repeatedly reproducible sound phenomena that contradicted the signal-based arguments of that time.
When the first CD players came on the market, turntables suddenly sounded worse than they used to be when a CD player was switched on in the room. The CD player didn't even have to be connected to the system that played the music on the turntable. This was the hour of birth of the disturbance theory ...

Frank Wacker: So that there are devices and fields that negatively affect our perception and hearing?

Norbert Maurer: Right. After we recognized this, we used individual devices that were not integrated into the playing system, entire systems or accessories that influenced electrical fields as interferers in order to analyze and demonstrate influences. I do the same thing today in my demonstrations at trade fairs or at dealerships: As soon as a notebook or tablet is switched on that has nothing to do with music playback, the sound deteriorates. This is particularly evident in the categories that require a high level of cognitive analysis and correction of the sound event, i.e. spatiality, localization or a wealth of detail. These are only the most noticeable. The intelligibility of the text and the tone colors also improved and the music touches you more emotionally. The step to consider the whole room, the whole house and the disturbing neighbors were only further logical steps.

Frank Wacker: Why do these interferers have such a strong impact on our hearing?

Norbert Maurer: Because of the psychoacoustics. Basically, one tries to recognize patterns while listening. It is always compared, supplemented, corrected and suppressed with what has been learned. Both the correct acoustic oscillation and an undisturbed nervous system are part of the lively, concrete perception of a pattern. An example: In the first Vortex HiFi test by HIFI-TODAY publisher Karl Belkner, this was visited by two friends, one of whom was hearing impaired -plugs.html). When using the Vortex HiFi Nano Shield Power Plugs, both reported that they were able to understand language better immediately. The power plugs are shielded plugs for power sockets that also measurably reduce stress. So two factors that, according to our research, significantly worsen hearing, electrosmog and stress.
In the present case, the acoustics could not have improved for both listeners - but the hearing ability through a more undisturbed processing of the "heard" in the brain. The best known, very well researched psychoacoustic effect is the cocktail party effect. When you are chatting with one person at a party, you are suppressing the other's voices. That's the part of noise suppression. In addition to the sound of other sound sources like other people, disruptive sound components of the room such as reflections, reverberation and room modes are suppressed - just any interfering sound! Likewise, through your attention, you specifically amplify the sound of the person on whom you are concentrating. This is a regulating mechanism in which both ears - the cochlea, part of the inner ear - and the brain are involved.
So you never feel the sound as it is in the room, only the part that you want to hear! The "wanting" to hear is to be understood more broadly, since the subconscious also has a say in what ultimately reaches your consciousness in the form of sound. It doesn't matter whether it's about guests at a party or about musical instruments. The mechanism in the inner ear responsible for this regulation changes the actual vibrations by up to 1000 times. The external acoustic reality makes up just 0,1 percent in the extreme.
This unfortunately very fragile, psychoacoustic, human mechanism creates dynamics, precision and a real-looking perception - and not the electroacoustics! So, for the sake of fun, I always say that at VORTEX Hifi we deal with 99,9 percent of the sound potential and classic electro-acoustics with the remaining 0,1 percent. If you realize this, it becomes clear why the VORTEX HIFI products work so extremely when used systematically. Many hi-fi fans don't even know how good their system really sounds.

Frank Wacker: A steep statement. But after using VORTEX Hifi products intensively for over three years, I can confirm their extreme effectiveness. The VORTEX Hifi website describes in great detail why computers, CD players & Co. have a massive impact on sound perception and list some studies that deal with the effects of electrosmog on people. Can you also - in a very simplified way, of course - say it in a few sentences?

Norbert Maurer: If one deals systematically with possible reasons for a change in the perception of music by devices that cannot have anything to do with the signal, only electrosmog and geosmog remain. Geosmog is the term used to describe the various natural phenomena on earth that create geopathogenic zones. In terms of electrosmog, we find tens of thousands of reports of noises in the ear without any acoustic stimulus, both in the high-frequency range and in the low-frequency range in environmental medicine. The Freiburg appeal by doctors describes cell phone masts and DECT telephones as the cause of ear noises, i.e. the influencing of the hearing system by home-made high-frequency electrosmog.
Investigations like that of Prof. Dr. Magda Haves also show cognitive influences from electrosmog and noises in the ears with low-frequency electrosmog. Here the direct connection between the musician's life and the phenomena mentioned above is more than obvious. Today, the widespread switching power supplies or processors running at high clock frequencies, which are found in computers and digital hi-fi devices, are particularly disruptive. But radiation from DECT telephones, cell phones and WLAN also have a negative effect on our well-being and our perceptions. All of these stresses have increased massively in recent years - that is another reason why our products have such an extreme effect.

Frank Wacker: And how do you deal with all this disruption? Please be brief - I could write a book with the full explanation. I recommend the VORTEX Hifi website to those interested. The videos and explanations from you are worthwhile, but they also take time.

Norbert Maurer: Depending on the malfunctions, we offer different products with different technologies. With our current or mass filters, we avoid harmful fields by reducing the interference energy. Or we shield high frequency free of ground potential or low and high frequency via the earth potential. The particularly critical mass disturbances have no antenna and are really shielded. In addition, we dissolve harmful vortex fields - we call this suppression - and create modulated, informed fields that have a positive effect on the organism and de-stress the nervous system. This makes you feel more comfortable and your perception improves.

Frank Wacker: A short break to collect my thoughts. What are informed fields?

Norbert Maurer: A definition can be found at DGEIM, the German society for energy and information medicine. The 2nd chairman, Prof. Dr. Konstantin Meyl describes it physically precisely for those who want to know. But that doesn't get us any further here. Imagine an electromagnetic wave going through the air. The air has a certain structure made up of atoms and molecules. This creates a resistance for the magnetic parts - there is a specific conductivity of the wave, the permeability. And for the electrical parts there is a specific conductivity, the permittivity.
If the wave hits another object, for example a window pane, the wave is changed because the conductivity for electrical fields is suddenly around six times as great. This changes the waveforms in two ways. Part of the wave swirls on the disc and forms a biologically relevant potential vortex and another part will model it, i.e. bring it into a different shape - which means nothing other than forming. This is like a stone lying in a river. Behind the stone, the water has additional undulations and eddies.
Humans react to these subtle changes in shape of the waves by strengthening or weakening the organism. With our technology, we can also apply other vibrations to solid objects in addition to their natural vibration. We call this »informing«. Our videos on the subject of kinesiological tests in food clearly illustrate this. *

Frank Wacker: Thank you for the illustrative example with the stone in the water - now I also understand why the interference suppression of window panes, mirrors and radiators is so noticeable.

Norbert Maurer: Yes, in your experience report on HIFI-TODAY you described in great detail how the sound, the television picture and your well-being improved after you attached our discs to radiators, mirrors and window panes. In principle, we take action against disturbances that we also know from modern building biology or from Feng Shui.

Frank Wacker: Brief explanation for our readers: Discs are 30 to 120 millimeters in diameter, almost one centimeter thick, made of obsidian, a black semi-precious stone, or clear rock crystal with a diameter of 20 millimeters. They generate a field and are attached to radiators, panes and mirrors or to components and electrical devices. The 120 round blank is perfect for suppressing interference from CD drives, amplifiers with fat transformers and for loudspeakers by placing them underneath - but I'm getting off the topic, after all we want to talk about their latest achievement, the oscillation alignment technology . What is it that makes them so special?

Norbert Maurer: The new technology we call oscillation alignment is based on findings from quantum physics and is revolutionary because it enables us to inform and model existing cell phone / WLAN or DECT radiation in such a way that it strengthens the body instead of how it does common to weaken. This improves cell communication, which, for example, reduces the heating of certain areas of the brain when using a mobile phone, or normalizes the blood flow to the inner ear and thus improves hearing. The effect can be easily tested by anyone with a strength and coordination test or kinesiological tests - you will be amazed how much stronger you are with oscillation alignment.
The videos on our website show how it's done. In addition, we have done over 600 blood tests to date that show how the red blood cells clump together under the influence of electrosmog or geosmog - this is also called the money roll effect, because the red blood cells pile up. As a result, the blood flows more slowly and no longer reaches the finest capillaries, which is fatal for hearing. The oscillation alignment technique prevents these clumping.

Frank Wacker: Which products with oscillation alignment technology are there?

Norbert Maurer: The only credit card-sized VORTEX Hifi Oszilation Alignments Cards suppress interference from cell phones, tablets, routers, laptops, Bluetooth keyboards and much more - and turn them into a source of power. In the case of a mobile phone, it is sufficient to simply attach it to the back. We developed our HFO set to inform third-party WLAN / cell phone and DECT networks where we do not have access to the sending device, such as with our own cell phone or router. That is why the Sigma-Set includes, among other things, four antennas, which are provided with a mains plug and plugged into mains sockets and are tuned to the transmission frequency of WLAN / cell phone and DECT networks. These four antennas also inform the power grid, so they have a double effect and can even suppress interference in geopathogenic zones ...

Frank Wacker: Geopathogenic zones - these are areas with earth rays, right?

Norbert Maurer: Yes, they are also called geopathogenic zones, because the organism is massively disturbed at the points where these earth phenomena occur. In the building of our Dutch distributor Ed Doggen there is a room with strong earth radiation. Even with high-quality hi-fi equipment, elaborately optimized acoustics and many of our previous interference suppression products, it sounded terrible, Ed also felt very uncomfortable in this room. The room was completely unsuitable for music. Blood tests carried out at the listening position showed extreme money roll effects - even more massive than with cell phone radiation and that after just 10 minutes.
When we tested our new products with the oscillation alignment technique at Ed, we felt and heard the extremely positive influence. After 10 minutes of using the oscillation alignment technique, the money roll effects in the blood had disappeared! This eventually led to the development of the Geopath. And thanks to Geopath, Ed now feels really comfortable in the room - and listening to music is also really fun. In your house there are also many geopathogenic zones - and you too can feel and hear the positive effects of the geopath ...
